Black Label is the home of all non-comedic theatre projects undertaken by Stranger Things Have Happened. It is project-based, meaning that the cast, director and crew of the productions vary. On this page, you will find our current and past Black Label projects.

Osama the Hero. Gary is an awkward teenage misfit living in a London housing estate. People distrust him, and stare when he passes by. He doesn’t know why, but he seems to have the habit of asking the wrong questions at the wrong time. After Gary gives a presentation about Osama Bin Laden at school, the situation only gets worse, and when somebody starts setting things on fire in the neighborhood, Gary becomes an obvious and easy suspect. Among his guests: a caffeine-fuelled businessman and his shrewd, calculating wife; a beautiful but dim weather girl; a loyal, long-suffering business partner; and a carefree, vicious socialite. Sleuth
Sleuth is a play written by Anthony Shaffer. The story is set in the Wiltshire, England manor house of Andrew Wyke, an immensely successful mystery writer. His home reflects Wyke's obsession with the inventions and deceptions of fiction and his fascination with games and game-playing. He lures his wife's lover, Milo Tindle, to the house and convinces him to stage a robbery of her jewelry, a proposal that sets off a chain of events that leaves the audience trying to decipher where Wyke's imagination ends and reality begins.Cast & Crew

Black Label’s most recent project was the December 2010 production of Dennis Kelly’s Osama the Hero. Gary is an awkward teenage misfit living in a London housing estate. People distrust him, and stare when he passes by. He doesn’t know why, but he seems to have the habit of asking the wrong questions at the wrong time. After Gary gives a presentation about Osama Bin Laden at school, the situation only gets worse, and when somebody starts setting things on fire in the neighborhood, Gary becomes an obvious and easy suspect.
